Cotton inflorescences are some of the most delicate and unusual. The flowers of the plant are most often white and large in size. A watercolour painting with this composition combines beauty and strangeness at the same time. I created this still life in monochrome, as to concentrate the attention on the form and to move away from bright colours. In the work I have used only cold brown. I often see still life paintings of these wonderful cotton twigs. The plant really has a spectacular look. This picture is perfect for any interior. It will successfully complement a collection of watercolour painting lovers or can serve as an original gift.
