My fascination with tall, lush mallows has roots in my childhood. The beauty of these predominantly wild plants has always captivated me, showcasing an endless array of vibrant species. Mallow, in particular, holds a special place in Ukrainian culture, symbolizing home and serving as a cherished amulet. These magnificent plants bloom near almost every household, embodying love for one’s homeland. Mallow represents dreams and joy, deeply resonating with my artistic vision. Inspired by this theme, I created a new work in oil, celebrating the exquisite beauty of mallow inflorescences while highlighting their cultural significance.

This painting is authentic and original. Crafted using oil colors based on high-quality pigments. I incorporated medium-density paint strokes to bring the artwork to life. Varnish and linseed oil enhance the richness of the colors, while the natural cotton canvas features a fine texture. A 6cm wide blank loose canvas surrounds the image, allowing for easy stretching over a stretcher frame. Please note that a wooden frame, baguette frame, and mounting hardware are not included.
