Today, the protagonist of my realistic still life painting is an oil lamp. Its shape and warm caressing flame inspired me to create a new oil painting on canvas. The lamp is like a firefly from the past that gave the opportunity to communicate with favourite books and read their fascinating stories in the evenings. The vintage theme of this work is vividly expressed. The composition of the painting is based on the contrast of cold blue and warm yellow. The work is authentic and painted from life. This painting well be a real pleasure for the real connoisseur of painting ang will add it to any collection.

Oil paints bassed on natural pigments were used. Damar varnish and linseed oil have been added.

Narural cotton canvas on cardboard, the texture is fine. The artwork is not framed. The set includes hardware for mounting on the wall, so the art can be hung immediately.

The painting technique is the author's. Layers of paint thin. The sides of the painting are painted to match the image on the canvas. Varnish for the top coat was used.
