A delicate blue still life in oil with a dried peony tree-flower. The composition combines a porcelain vase and a wooden vase. The work is done in the style of realism.
It is March and my garden is just starting to come to life after its winter sleep. My inspiration was awakened by last year's peony blossoms. I definitely felt it would be the perfect focal point for my airy arrangement. Beauty is a state, it is evident in everything that surrounds us.
The etude is painted from life with great inspiration and love. This realistic painting is full of tenderness and femininity. It will fit in any interior. It well be a wonderful gift for yourself or your loved ones.

Oil paints based on natural pigments were used. Damar warnish and linseed oil were added.

The base is 300g/m2 paper primed with acrylic paste. Paper sheet size 17.5x12.5inch with white borders around the perimeter. Outline dimensions 17.0x12.0inch excluding white borders (see additional photos). Framing and wall fixing elements not included.

The technique of painting is author's. The layers of paint are thin. Varnish for the top coat is not used.
